About Me

My name is Taylor, and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and owner of Talking with Taylor.  I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and B.A. in Psychology from Lake Erie College.

My experience includes working with adolescents and adults who have a wide variety of concerns.  I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy.  My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative.

Although formally and academically, my background is in the mental health field, I came into this lifetime with intuitive gifts that I have developed and share with others.  In 2016, I completed my Usui Reiki Ryoho training, certifying me as a Reiki Master/Teacher. Since then, I regularly provide reiki treatments and have taught classes to students on their reiki certification journey.  In 2017, I spent time in the jungles of South America in Pucallpa, Peru, learning and participating in indigenous healing traditions.  Experiencing a deepened connection with the natural elements, I was inspired to evolve my astrololgical knowledge.  Over the past several years, I've been studying and interpreting natal charts, primarily through an evolutionary and Jungian approach.  I've taken several courses from experts such as Bryan Colter, Steven Forrest, Lada Duncheva, and the late Nikola Stojanovic. These experiences have expanded and refined my understanding of "mental" health in that there is more to our wellbeing than what we can see and measure through a Western lens.

I am passionate about the healing process, and I am eternally inspired by and privileged to do the work that I do.
